Medicinal Miso Soup


One of my favorite dishes on the RESET Your Life cleanse I do with the amazing M Cafe, is the Miracle Bowl. It’s one of the most satiating, warming and cleansing meals I’ve had. Everyone who does the cleanse goes crazy for it!

The Miracle Bowl is miracle noodles and fresh grilled salmon covered in a warm miso soup. It’s delicious! My daughter loves miso soup and she absolutely adored this dish. I wanted to make a miso soup at home that we could enjoy all the time.

This Medicinal Miso from Everyday Raw Detox is amazing and super simple to make. It will be my staple when sickness strikes or when the family is just craving a delcious, flavor packed soup. I loved the addition of the avocado in the broth. It gave it an amazing creamy taste.

Feel free to play with vegetables, I loved the radishes, carrots and snap peas, but you could really add anything you’d like! This recipe didn’t have tofu, a typical miso soup staple, but feel free to add it. I added


Rezept für 4 Portionen


¼ cup white miso
1 avocado peeled and pitted
1 tbsp sesame oil
1 tbsp dulse flakes
1 tbsp ginger grated
sea salt to taste

Stock-blend all ingredients together until smooth.

Shiitakes- marinate mushrooms with oil, nama, shoyu and lemon juice. Allow to marinate for at least 15 minutes.

Assembly- Before serving, stir shiitakes and vegetables into stock. If desired, garnish with bean sprouts and gamashio before serving.


1 cup shitake mushrooms stemmed and thinly sliced
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp nama shoyu
1 tbsp lemon juice

marinate mushrooms with oil, nama, shoyu and lemon juice. Allow to marinate for at least 15 minutes.
