Janabai Owens, a core member of the TMK team and its resident wellness chef has been a raw, vegan chef and wellness consultant to LA's star-studded health scene since she arrived there in 2005. After 2+ years working at The Sanctuary Detox Center and Resort in Koh Phangan, Thailand and The Tree of Life Rejuvenation Center with Dr. Gabriel Cousins in Patagonia, AZ, she opened a raw vegan restaurant named Rawvolution in both LA and New York City. She co-authored a raw food recipe book with celebrity chef Matt Amsden titled “The Rawvolution Continues.” She designed a packaged juice line as well as a successful wholesale vegan food line and has consulted with many wellness clients over her two decades in the health food industry.
