Growing up, I was beyond active. My mom loved to sign me up for everything and anything. I woke up every morning before school and played tennis- I was certainly the busiest of all my friends!
Back then, I felt like I was in a cycle of nonstop exhaustion. I had a weak immune system and I was always sick. I didn’t know at the time that was not normal. I thought my schedule, fatigue and sickness was normal. Besides, I was too busy to notice!
My mom had asthma so she often turned to alternative options for help. Every year we went to a health ranch, called Rancho La Puerta which focused on nutrition, exercise and taking a break from our busy life. Talk about being ahead of its time! As a child, I didn’t fully understand why we went to the ranch and what its purpose was. The irony is not lost on me that my life has come full circle from that moment!
It makes me smile that now, many decades older, I have a busier schedule than ever before, but I actually have more energy and I am rarely sick. I realize now that as a child I was experiencing an early case of adrenal fatigue. Not that I could have known that back then.
I am so grateful I know how to help myself now whenever I start feeling exhausted or burnt out- I turn to this juice. It’s a surefire way to give your adrenals the boost they need to get you through your busy schedule with a smile.
And after that- give them a break. Destress, get to sleep, take a yoga class. You deserve it!
ash produce well. Juice all items, stir and enjoy!

Her husband wasn’t as fortunate; he succumbed to Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma when he was only 45 after a regimen of doctor-prescribed chemotherapy and two bone marrow transplants. Her personal experience led her to realize the many ways in which nutrition and lifestyle affect our ability to deal with health challenges.
